Job Description


Strategic Planning
To contribute to the development of the Regional operations strategy and to work within this strategy at all times.

Operational Management.
To contribute to the development of range/ assortment/sales plan/ budgeting.
To work with the Trading Managers to track progress against the agreed critical path for seasons range.
By liaison with, and through influencing B&M team, to progress the availability of product in line with agreed dates and to ensure that contracted intake is re-phased in line with changes to requirements.
To monitor weekly sales, stock and intake for each department and to ensure that future projections are realistic and in line with stock availability.
Ensure that category level breaking stocks meet plan, and sales are maximized, by pro-actively making fully researched recommendations to the merchandiser and buyer in terms of proposed cancellation, re-buy and re-pricing activity.

General.
Manage replenishment and consolidation for stress based on Sales performance, sell through rates, store size and display norms.
Monitor store-wise, department-wise performance in sync with organization goals through comparison of LFL Sales, SPF, MPF and Inventory turns.
Review Planograms and guide store team on product feature and new product launches.
Ensure RTV to brand in accordance with the SOPs.
As a key member of the team to contribute to, and fully participate in, all regular reviews and presentations.
To contribute to the development of merchandising processes and best practices.
To ensure that the agreed personal development plans is achieved.
Soft Skills required: Analytical skills, numerical reasoning, effective presentation skills, and sound financial perspective.

System skills required: MMS JDA, E3
